Experience:

Mr. Al Ouahabi is a Principal in OpenGate Capital’s Paris office, responsible for operations and portfolio management of the firm’s European investments. He also supports European M&A through operational due diligence, value creation planning and underwriting.

He previously led operational transformation programs across industrial businesses, focused on profitability and cash generation. Before that, he was a Senior Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company in Paris, advising industrial corporates and PE-backed companies on strategy, performance improvement and large-scale transformations. Earlier, he held leadership roles at OCP Group, spanning plant management and group-level transformation.

Education:

Mr. Al Ouahabi holds an MBA from HEC Paris, a Master’s in Management Control & Risk Management from NEOMA Business School, and an Engineering degree from École Mohammadia d’Ingénieurs. He is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from CentraleSupélec.
