Omar Al Husseini

Experience:

Mr. Al Husseini is a Principal in OpenGate’s Paris office, on the Operations team. He drives operational value creation across the firm’s European investments and supports the M&A team on transactions.

Prior to joining OpenGate, Mr. Al Husseini was a Director in the Operations team at Mutares, where he led restructuring, turnaround and value creation programs across the portfolio and served on the boards of several portfolio companies. Before Mutares, he worked in consulting, first at Orphoz, McKinsey’s implementation arm, and then at Alvarez & Marsal’s Private Equity Performance Improvement practice. In those roles, he advised investors on due diligence, carve-outs and integrations and led operational excellence and transformation programs. Mr. Al Husseini started his career as an engineer in the aerospace industry.

Education:

Mr. Al Husseini holds a Master’s in Industrial Systems Engineering from INSA Toulouse and an MBA in Strategy & Innovation from Toulouse School of Management.
