OpenGate Capital Integrates AGIS Fire & Security into Portfolio

European Security Solutions Provider Offers Tailored Services to Enterprises

LOS ANGELES, CA – January 28, 2014 – OpenGate Capital, a global private buyout firm, announced today it has integrated AGIS Fire & Security into its portfolio of wholly owned business through an arrangement with Sebastien Kiekert Le Moult, one of the firm’s partners and the current Chairman of AGIS Group. Terms of the integration were not disclosed.

AGIS Fire & Security is an international provider of electronic security and fire protection solutions, with approximately 210 people working in operations in Poland, Greece, Finland and Hungary.  The business, which has been in existence for more than 40 years , develops state-of-the-art, tailor-made and completely integrated services and solutions for fire and security systems for world class businesses including Zara/Inditex, Nokia, Unilever, Audi, Sephora, Thomson Reuters, Dell, Tesco, British American Tobacco, Procter & Gamble and Google. Recently, AGIS was awarded assignments in Poland including new fire and security systems for the University Hospital, high tech electrical installations for a border crossing point, and a new, integrated fire and security system for a district courthouse. Through a long standing relationship with Tyco and Sensormatic, AGIS Fire & Security has an extended, worldwide presence via their network.

In September of 2013, AGIS acquired a strategic and complementary business, SSI S.A which was listed on the Warsaw Stock Index. SSI S.A. was founded in 2004, in Wrocław, Poland. The company serves a wide range of electrical installations, low voltage systems and fire protection solutions for construction and industry markets, entertainment centers, office towers, hospitals, and other businesses. The scope of the company’s services included design, implementation, service and maintenance of offered systems. With the majority of the SSI business and its employees having been integrated into AGIS, the acquisition expands the entire suite of products and services offered by AGIS, and will bring new markets and projects into the portfolio of business.
