OpenGate Capital Signs Agreement to Acquire Kem One Innovative Vinyls

LOS ANGELES, CA and PARIS, FRANCE – June 5, 2015 – OpenGate Capital, a global private equity firm, announced today that it has signed an agreement to acquire Kem One Innovate Vinyls from the Klesch Group. Kem One Innovative Vinyls produces vinyl compounds, profiles and tubes throughout its facilities in Europe, Asia and Mexico. The transaction is expected to close within 60 days pending regulatory approval. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Kem One Innovative Vinyls produces and distributes rigid and flexible end products that are used in a variety of applications including automotive, construction, furnishings, electrical, packaging, paramedical, healthcare, industrial equipment and others. The business operates mainly under two names, Resinoplast and Alphacan, and has 13 plants across Europe, Asia and Mexico. Headquartered in France, the business has revenues of approximately €350 million, employs 1,200 people, and serves a global customer base.
