DE PERE, WI – July 17, 2013 – Hamilton Scientific, a leader in laboratory furniture, fume hoods for education and health care alongside industrial markets has relocated its corporate headquarters from Two Rivers, WI to De Pere, WI. This new building is fully equipped with a sleek new contemporary style which has earned a Silver LEED Green Building System accreditation. This means the building was created to capitalize on the productivity of operations while diminishing the impact on the environment. The building maintains excellent energy cost savings of about 25%, efficient lighting and control systems, and waste management control which is able to reduce water consumption by up to 52%.
The building was designed by Miron Construction Company whose architectural firms are the Performa and LEED project administrator. Jack Roberts, President and Chief Executive Officer, states “This move marks the beginning of an exciting chapter for Hamilton Scientific. The new building occupancy provides us with the features, flexibility and efficiencies we need to facilitate the continued, successful growth of our business. The open floor concept allows for easy collaboration and innovation and includes a product development area for design concepts and studying completed products.”
Aside from being environmentally friendly its location near Highway 41 allows for an ideal setting. This permits for easy access from a popular state highway, in the quickly rising Scheuring Road area.
The Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum was also moved to 1816 10th Street in Two Rivers, WI. The Museum is known for its heritage of the original Hamilton Company dating back to 1880 and is dedicated to the preservation, study, production and printing of wood type.
