Experience:
Ms. Malloy is OpenGate Capital’s new Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for the financial and administrative matters of the firm, the funds under OpenGate’s management, and the financial supervision of OpenGate’s global portfolio companies. Ms. Malloy is a tenured, private equity finance executive with an extensive background in corporate strategy, structuring, and systems. She is experienced in control buyouts, senior, junior, and mezzanine debt, structured finance, and asset-backed securities.
Prior to joining OpenGate, Ms. Malloy was a management consultant at Riva Ridge Management, and she previously served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Strattam Capital for six years. Malloy was the first team member to join the new lower middle markets buyout firm, a spinout from Oak Hill Capital Partners. She built all of the firm’s systems from the ground-up, and was responsible for key aspects of transaction execution (ranging from $8MM-$80MM), including debt negotiations, securities structuring, tax optimization, R&W insurance contracts, and cross border migrations.
Education:
Ms. Malloy earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
