Matthias Gundlach Joins as Principal in Los Angeles Overseeing North American M&A Activities

LOS ANGELES, CA – AUGUST 26, 2013 – OpenGate Capital, LLC, a global private buyout firm, announced today that it has strengthened its bench of investment professionals with the hiring of Matthias Gundlach as Principal.

Matthias Gundlach will lead transactions for the firm’s North American acquisitions and will manage a team of professionals assisting with the negotiation, due diligence, financial modeling, and operational analysis processes.

Prior to OpenGate Capital, Matthias Gundlach was a Vice President at Sun European Partners in London, and an Associate at Goldman Sachs in their German corporate advisory team in Frankfort. Matthias began his career as an Analyst at Deutsche Bank’s industrial corporate advisory team based in London.
